Biography

Hailey Bourne is a dancer and choreographer from Houston, Texas, and currently resides in Provo, Utah. She specializes in contemporary and modern movement. Her unique style is attributed to her dance education in Joffrey’s New York and Los Angeles programs, as well as others throughout the United States.

Dance has always been an outlet for Hailey in both good and hard times since she was just 5 years old. She attended Lancaster Dance Academy in Beaumont, Texas, where she was a member of the competitive dance team and choreographed dances for competitions across the country. She has also been trained in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, and contemporary, as well as contemporary and other genres. She has received numerous awards from competitions and conventions, where she learned from Brian Friedman, Mark Meismer, Blake McGrath, Alexa Moffett, Mollee Gray, and Jason Parsons.

Hailey constantly looks for opportunities to expand her talent and knowledge in the field of dance education by attending programs such as the CLI Conservatory in Southampton, Massachusetts, and working with Teddy Forance, Lucy Vallely, and Jason Williams. During her training with the Joffrey Ballet School, she had the opportunity to work with Mia Michaels, Josie Walsh, and Mauro Villanueva. She is currently a member of a dance team at the prestigious Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and is enrolled in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program, as well as being one of Menina Fortunato’s mentees from The Business of Dance, learning from Dana Wilson, Aubrey Fisher, Julie McDonald, Mel Charlot, and TinaLandon.
